You will learn how to identifythe right group for you to reach out to, how to create an effectivemessage about your research/work, and how to tailor your presentationfor a specific audience. You will also learn active listening skills,have the chance to practice public speaking, and receive feedback fromcommunication experts and your peers.This workshop is designed for scientists who want to learn how to moreeffectively communicate their research/work, as opposed to policyprofessionals, outreach specialists, journalists, or other professionalcommunicators.Scientists from all disciplines and of all communications-experiencelevels are welcome.
