Migratory patterns of eastern Golden Eagle population revealed

Eastern North America is home to a small population of Golden Eagles, but despite their potential vulnerability to habitat loss and wind energy development, little information has been available on the patterns of their annual migration. Groups of eagles face different threats depending on the locations they use, and for a new study, researchers have analyzed isotopes in eagles' feathers to trace their annual movements.
