Carla Cicero Posted April 29, 2014 Share Posted April 29, 2014 The soon to be launched website for American Ornithology (AO) includes societal information for the American Ornithologists Union, Cooper Ornithological Society, and perhaps other societies later this year, as well as extensive information regarding the field of ornithology. The AO site will feature high quality ornithological photography and art, and will change images about once a month. We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help manage the photos and artwork, including soliciting and selecting material for the site as well as obtaining permission to use the material. Qualifications for this position include a proven interest in bird photography, image editing skills (e.g., PhotoShop), and an interest in reaching out to photographers and artists throughout the America's. Interested persons should send an email with their statement of interest in this position, their background in bird photography (links to websites are fine), and their specific skills, to Carla Cicero (ccicero@berkeley.edu) by 14 May 2014.
