  1. Our Trap Tech job has opened up as of the beginning of October; we will train 1-2 people this week or next weekend!
  2. Begin by emailing your resume with 2-3 references. Later if you need to text or call my phone is 906-370-3248. Our website is www.griffithwildlifebiology.com.
  3. Ventura County California Trap Technician Two part time positions are open for trap technicians in Fillmore for October and November (and if approved April - Jun 2020). A great entry level job for a biology student, field experience is gained and the position is paid! Each tech will be scheduled for 2-4 days per week, about 2 hours per day, so the job is ideal for a student, as the daily tasks can be scheduled around classes or other work. Lump sum daily pay is based on $18/hour plus mileage reimbursement. Training will take place in the next 2 weekends.. Qualifications: must be good communicator, with a smart phone for text and email of daily data sheets, have own reliable vehicle (does not need to be 4WD), and be able to identify brown-headed cowbirds and local seed eating bird species (we can train), and be able to work independently in the field, after several weeks of training. You should live or work within 30 miles of Fillmore CA (otherwise it is too far to drive RT each day). Applicants: mail a resume with at least 2 references to griffithwildlifebiology@hughes.net.
