    Duties: Assist with rocket netting, banding, neck collaring, ground surveys, VHF tracking, hunter harvest sampling, equipment maintenance, data entry.

    The California Department of Fish & Wildlife is hiring two scientific aids to assist the Waterfowl Unit from September to February. These are great positions for those passionate about waterfowl as we use a variety of field techniques including rocket-netting, banding, neck collaring, and VHF radio tracking of waterfowl, among others.
