    The Jefferson County Open Space Natural Resources team is excited to announce a limited-term Natural Resources Technician position focusing on wildlife.

    Ideal candidates will have experience identifying Colorado birds by sight and sound and demonstrate willingness to develop new skills and experience regarding additional taxa outside of core areas of expertise. Work will include but is not limited to raptor nest monitoring, avian spot mapping surveys, and small mammal trapping. Experience performing natural resource surveys, using ESRI field and office products, reporting data, and a willingness to work safely as part of a team is preferred. This position operates on our four-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm).
