    We are seeking for an enthusiastic PhD student with interest in macroevolution and behaviour. The proposed project looks into the macroevolution of avian nest architecture. There is possibility for fieldwork too, although the project centres on using recent statistical techniques to understand in detail the evolution of avian nest design. Specific topics are flexible and you are encouraged to contribute your own ideas. Experience with R is important and experience with comparative analyses is highly desirable, experience with birds is not required – but interest in the topic is a must 🙂. We are keen to foster a diversity of ideas and perspectives in our group, and we welcome applicants from under-represented groups.
