Kristen Covino Posted February 19 Share Posted February 19 Join us for a 2-week, intensive, field ornithology course run by the Shoals Marine Laboratory. Students will learn about the songbird and seabirds of this island and some surrounding islands as well. We will conduct field work in collaboration with the Appledore Island Migration Station (songbird banding), Gulls of Appledore Research Program (breeding Herring and Great Black-backed Gulls), and Seavey Island Tern Restoration project. Students stay on Appledore for the the length of the course and receive course credit!
