Cara J Posted October 30, 2015 Share Posted October 30, 2015 The National Bobwhite Conservation Initiative (NBCI) released the fifth “State of Bobwhite” report, which includes information about bobwhite conservation activities in 25 states as well as an examination of landscape restoration for the birds. The annual report, which started out five years ago as a simple survey of bobwhites, now examined different aspects of bobwhite conservation including federal policy bias toward the use of exotic grasses on tame pasturelands and how native grasses are better for bobwhites and other wildlife as well as for water quality, soil conservation, and other areas.
