We hope that over time it will turn out to be a useful and enjoyable resource, and we also hope that it will generate a bit of honest web community effort. "10 years later we can say that we certainly got what we were hoping for, and then some!What an amazing adventure it has turned out to be so far: 2400 recordists worldwide, 240000 recordings, 9300+ species, 10000+ discussions on the forum ....We want to thank you all for joining that adventure, and would like to renew that original call!team XC
