American Bird Conservancy Posted November 8, 2013 Share Posted November 8, 2013 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has revised the formal List of Migratory Birds that are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and other laws by adding 23 species to the list and removing four, bringing the total number of birds protected under those laws to 1,026.
