Chris Merkord Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 The Central Ornithology Publication Office (COPO) is pleased to announce that, during the week of September 9, it will launch a new online portal for manuscript submission and peer review for articles for The Auk: Ornithological Advances and The Condor: Ornithological Applications. Authors will be able to log in to the PeerTrack submission system, update your profile, and submit research papers for consideration in the 2014 ornithology journals published by the American Ornithologists’ Union and the Cooper Ornithological Society. Manuscripts for The Condor: Ornithological Applications can be submitted at http://www.editorialmanager.com/condor. Manuscripts for The Auk: Ornithological Advances can be submitted at http://www.editorialmanager.com/auk/. The exact date of the launch is not yet certain, but will be announced on the submission websites. In the next couple of weeks, after the launch, many users of the journals’ previous online system (ScholarOne) will receive an email with a username and password; please use that to log in. Otherwise, search for your name on the login page, and if you do not find it, then register as a new author. The system will then guide authors through the manuscript submission process. The downloadable Author Instructions document also contains details about how to submit a manuscript. Send inquiries about submission or publication questions to the managing editors at COPO (EM: aoucospubs@gmail.com). The AOU and COS welcome your contributions to our new publishing venture.
