FRANCOIS VUILLEUMIER FUND

 

FOR RESEARCH ON NEOTROPICAL BIRDS

 

The goal of the Neotropical Ornithological Society’s Francois Vuilleumier Fund is to award one or more cash grants per year for thesis studies of Neotropical birds to one or several graduate students from any country in Latin America and the Caribbean. The funds are provided to assist thesis research by students, enrolled in an institution in the Neotropics who have little or no access to funds within their country or at their institution. Awards will be competitive and are expected to be in the range of $500-$1000. Students from Latin America and the Caribbean enrolled in a graduate degree program (Masters or Ph.D.) at an institution in the Neotropical Region are eligible to apply.

FONDO FRANCOIS VUILLEUMIER PARA

 

LA INVESTIGACION DE AVES NEOTROPICALES

 

 

El objetivo del fondo Fracois Vuilleumier de la Sociedad Ornitológica Neotropical es el otorgar una o más becas por año para realizar estudios de tesis con aves Neotropicales a uno o varios estudiantes graduados de cualquier país Latino Americano y del Caribe. Los fondos se proveen para ayudar a estudiantes que realizan investigaciones de tesis, matriculados en instituciones del neotrópico y que tengan poco o ningún acceso a fondos en su país o institución. Los otorgamientos serán competitivos y se espera estén entre unos US $500-$1000. Los estudiantes matriculados en instituciones fuera de la región, así como, estudiantes de Licenciatura y de Post-doctorado son inelegibles para los fondos.
