Birds of Western Australia

This is a new book and is an expanded version of the original guide that covered those species found just in the south west region. It is a photographic Field Guide with over 480 species illustrated and covers the vast majority of resident or visiting birds to all of Western Australia including seabirds and those species found on Christmas Island. It contains information where many reserves are located and also discusses specific areas to visit. Each species listed shows a photograph with extensive text including distribution maps and general specifications.

The photographs are generally sharp and clear and should assist greatly with identification.
