The Scientific Program Committee is developing an engaging program of plenary presentations, symposia, oral and poster sessions for our meeting in Annapolis, Maryland 9-12 November. The program will feature invited speakers for the following symposia: The USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center-Contributions to Waterbird Science and Conservation; The BP/Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Waterbird Conservation: First Looks; Reddish Egret Conservation. The organizers of two special sessions–Migration and Wintering areas of Arctic- and Temperate-nesting Waterbirds; American Oystercatcher Conservation Science–invite authors to submit abstracts for inclusion in the program. In addition, we invite authors to submit abstracts for inclusion in general paper and post er sessions.
