  • BirdWatch Ireland

    Chris Merkord

BirdWatch Ireland is a national organisation concerned with the conservation of wild birds and their habitats. It has a number of nature reserves throughout the Republic of Ireland, and undertakes surveys and research to increase our knowledge of Irish birds and to establish a sound basis for conservation.

BirdWatch Ireland is supported by a network of branches around the country. Each branch holds frequent meetings and outings, and a number of national events and conferences are organised each year. Members receive the quarterly Wings, full of the latest news on birds and other wildlife in Ireland and abroad.
