Seabird

Seabird is the annual, colour journal of The Seabird Group. It containing papers and short communications on seabird biology, conservation, identification, and status. The geographical focus of the journal is the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent seas, but contributions of general interest also come from other parts of the world.

In 1998, following no. 20, the journal was merged with Sula, the journal of the Dutch Seabird Group (Nederlandse Zeevogelgroep, NZG), and continued under the name Atlantic Seabirds as the official joint journal of both organizations. Unfortunately, over the years, production of Atlantic Seabirds fell behind schedule. After discussion between the two groups and their members, it was decided to discontinue the joint publication, and the last issue of Atlantic Seabirds (vol 8, no. 3) was published in early 2008. Seabird resumed publication in 2008 with no. 21.
