Ornithology Exchange (brought to you by the Ornithological Council)

Ornis Hungarica

Ornis Hungarica is published by BirdLife Hungary (Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Society). Currently the journal is planned to have 2 issues per year.

The journal publishes original research articles, short communications, reviews, and book reviews. Manuscripts on all fields of ornithology are considered, with a preference for the ecology, behaviour and biogeography of birds. The journal can accept results from faunistic work which represent significant contributions to the biogeography or conservation of birds, but does not publish faunistic notes.

The geographical emphasis of Ornis Hungarica is on Hungary, East- and Central-Europe but papers from other regions are also welcomed. The journal publishes papers in English (preferred) and Hungarian.
