The Roth Lab at the University of Maine seeks to hire a field technician to assist with Golden-winged Warbler research in the Midwest and the Appalachians. The Golden-winged Warbler population is sharply declining and is being reviewed for protection under the Endangered Species Act. Our goal is to estimate Golden-winged Warbler annual survival through use of telemetry methods. The field technician will assist a graduate student with fieldwork in Tennessee and Wisconsin.
