We have a last minute opening for an assistant to participate in our autumn program. The work entails making observations of passerines and waterfowl, banding of passerines and Northern Saw-whet Owls from mid-September until the end of October, entering of data, and being part of our team undertaking daily chores.

We are located at a remote site on the north shore of Lake Superior. Long-term participants (3-6 weeks) are provided with food and accommodation.

Having familiarity with identification of most eastern North American birds and/or mist net experience is an asset for applicants.

An online application form can be located at https://tbfn.net/thunder-cape/volunteer-at-the-cape Please send any questions and form to R. Boardman at arbyboardman@gmail.com
