    Duties: Collection of gull eggs and nests from a three rooftop gull colonies at an industrial facility in Dearborn, MI as part of a depredation permit.

    Position Duration: One eight (8) hour day each week for 18 weeks from Mar 16, 2020 to July 24, 2020.  

    Position Requirements: Applicant must have vehicle to get to and from job site.  Must pass drug test and 5-hour safety training class.  Applicant must be able to climb 5-6 flights of stairs in work boots, walk approximately 1.5 miles and climb up two 8-foot ladders.

    Qualifications: Minimum of Associates degree preferred, but not essential if experienced.  Ornithology or birding background preferred.  Experience with gulls ideal.  Must be comfortable with birds in close proximity.  Familiarity or experience with heavy industry preferred.

    Compensation: This is a contract position paying $35 to $45 per hour depending on qualifications.
