This research is paired with a hummingbird diet and regional pollinator (native bee) research efforts.  We are intensively monitoring pollinator populations and available flowering plants for an upcoming floral enhancement project.  Because we hope floral resources will positively impact portions of the insect communities, we also aim to collect data on species that consume such insects (and nectar).
