We are looking for a highly-motivated volunteers to assist us with our field season in British Columbia this summer.
Our team works on various projects throughout the season and we are looking to fill volunteer positions from end of May til middle of September. Volunteers need to be available for a minimum 2 weeks, but we prefer longer stays of 4-6 weeks.
Tasks include setting up mist nets, extracting birds from nets, handling birds, assisting with attachment of tracking devices, care-taking and feeding birds and recording of morphometric data.
Applicants need to we willing to work long hours and in any weather condition. We will be camping all season and unfortunately will not be able to pay any salary.
