    Manomet Bird Observatory in Plymouth, MA invites applications by e-mail for one remaining seasonal banding assistant vacancy to be filled as soon as possible. All applicants must be available for the entire season (15 April - 15 June). Applicants must illustrate significant experience mist-netting, banding, ageing and sexing passerines and near-passerines. Applicants must possess an advanced knowledge of the birds found in the Eastern US. It is an additional advantage if you have experience with and enjoy teaching visitors of all ages about birds. Band 5 days per week and help lead, supervise and train 2 interns and volunteers to run 50 nets dawn to dusk. Enthusiasm for long hours and attention to detail are essential. Live free on 40 acres by Cape Cod Bay, town nearby (walking), and most facilities available. Stipend $515-525 per week for the season, depending on experience.
