Hilliardton marsh songbird /owl banding assistants

We are looking for  2 volunteers for our fall season start time is flexible but we are hoping to have 2 people start august first  owl banding begins September 15th and we band  northern sawwhet long eared and boreal owls . Volunteers need to have good people skills and be able to live in close quarters as we have a trailer that sleeps 4. It is an exciting banding seasons featuring lots of warblers , as well volunteers will have a chance to band hawks and american pipits  and take part in our ruby throated hummingbird banding. While we are looking for people who have experience with mist nets we are open to train people with a demonstrated passion for birds who are hoping to make a career in ornithology.  Volunteers will also be expected to enjoy teaching the general public and school groups.
