The Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve in Duluth, MN is well known for the fall bird migration. It’s one of the best places in North America to observe large numbers of birds of great diversity migrating each fall. The Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory (HRBO) is the non-profit organization that manages and conducts bird research and education at the nature reserve. The mission of HRBO is to protect birds of prey and other migratory birds in the western Lake Superior region through research, education, and stewardship.
Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory (HRBO) in Duluth, Minnesota is seeking one experienced Bird Migration Counter to document and showcase the amazing fall bird migration at Hawk Ridge. This is a seasonal full-time position August 31 – November 1, 2019. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and personal vehicle for transportation.
