NIBIO Department for landscape and biodiversity is searching for a postdoctoral researcher to study effects of agricultural land-use on biodiversity using modelling to describe spatial and temporal patterns in the occurrence and abundance of species, interactions with the environment and interactions among species. The postdoc project is planned to focus on farmland birds but experience from bird research is not a prerequisite and other research activity can also be possible within the project, based on the candidate’s research interests and background. The research activities will be conducted in cooperation with the Centre for Biodiversity Dynamics (CBD), which is located at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. The project will also involve collaborate with other institutions, particularly related to data access and use of citizen science data.
The position is for two years with possibility of a one-year extension. The position is located in Trondheim, Norway, and the deadline for applications is August 15th.
