I am looking for a postdoc to join my team at the University of Lethbridge to work on population genomics in North Pacific seabirds.  The project involves analyzing whole genome sequencing data from multiple seabird species (auklets, puffins, gulls) to examine population structure and evidence of adaptation.

Candidates require experience working with genomic data.  Ideally the successful candidate would start in March 2022, but start date is flexible.  The position is for one year with possibility of renewal. This project is a collaboration with Environment and Climate Change Canada, US Fish and Wildlife and other partners.

The University of Lethbridge is situated in southern Alberta about 2 hours south of Calgary.  Lethbridge is a medium sized city with about 100,000 people and located close to the Rocky Mountains.

Interested applicants can email their CV to theresa.burg<at>uleth.ca.  Please contact me if you have any questions.
