The Department of Wildlife at Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University) is advertising an Instructional Support Technician II - Wildlife Museum Curator / MWCC Coordinator. This is a full-time permanent position that is on a 10/12 schedule, meaning work 10 months with pay and benefits spread out over 12 (with summers off). The position curates a 16,000+ bird and mammal specimen teaching and research collection, and supports instruction, as well as working (1/4 time) on oil spill preparedness and response at Humboldt's Marine Wildlife Care Center, an oil spill response faciltity on campus that is part of California's Oiled Wildlife Care Network.
