The Lattin Lab at Louisiana State University (www. christinelattin.com) is recruiting PhD students to develop lab and field-based projects examining neuroendocrinology and behavior in wild birds. We are especially interested in students who want to develop expertise in bioinformatics (using next-generation sequencing to examine the transcriptome and epigenome), but this is not required.
You would join a friendly lab and a vibrant department (60+ faculty members) located in the city of Baton Rouge, LA. Graduate positions would begin in August 2021 or January 2022, and include benefits and 6 years of guaranteed support through Teaching Assistantships. We encourage applications from individuals from diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
If interested, please contact Christine Lattin at christinelattin@lsu.edu and include: 1) a brief description of your research interests and experiences, 2) a current resume, 3) contact information for 3 references.
