    In the McEntee lab at Missouri State University, we study the evolution and ecology of passerine bird song. I'm interested in hearing from prospective Masters students who are motivated to pursue these topics. Recent and on-going Masters theses in the lab have focused on the songs of hybridizing chickadees, song repertoires of Bewick's Wrens, and duetting/female song in Carolina Wrens. Prior field experience with birds is strongly desired. Prospective students can apply to the graduate program and be considered for teaching assistantships to start in the spring semester, 2023, by submitting applications at the following link by October 1st:
