    transparent.giftransparent.gifCal Poly Humboldt and the Department of Wildlife Management invites applicants for a full-time, academic-year, tenure-track position specializing in Waterfowl and Wetland Ecology. Successful candidates will have an earned PhD or equivalent in Wildlife Biology, Organismal Biology, Ecology, Conservation Biology, or a related field from an accredited college or university at the time of appointment. If ABD, degree requirement must be completed by date of appointment. Candidates should be committed to teaching excellence and to building a strong research program. Instructional assignments may include: WLDF 420 (Waterfowl Ecology and Management), WLDF 430 (Ecology and Management of Wetland Habitats), WLDF 210 (Introduction to Wildlife Conservation & Administration), WLDF 301 (Principles of Wildlife Management), WLDF 311 (Wildlife Techniques), and other courses in the program. Instructional assignments will be consistent with the programmatic needs of the department and students.

    The Department of Wildlife at Cal Poly Humboldt enjoys a strong reputation for excellence in undergraduate and Master’s-level graduate education balanced with activity in applied research.
