Recommended Posts

The Waterbird Society annually awards grants for research in the science and conservation of waterbirds. These grants were established from funds provided by the generosity of two former Presidents, Jim Kushlan and Ian Nisbet, of the Waterbird Society. The deadline for both grants is July 15th. The Kushlan award is focused on the biology, ecology, or conservation biology of wading birds (i.e. herons, storks, ibises, and their taxonomic allies) and the Nisbet award is focused on research and conservation of gulls & terns. Applications will be accepted until midnight Eastern Daylight Time on July 15th.
