I would like to invite members of the Ornithology Exchange to consider submitting manuscripts to our new open access journal Animal Migration, published by Versita (www.versita.com). Volume 1 of Animal Migration is freely available online at http://www.degruyter...012.1.issue.xml.

Animal Migration is an international journal that publishes cutting-edge research on the biology of migratory species. We strive to present a forum where all aspects of migratory biology can be discussed, from genetics and physiology to ecosystem-level interactions between migrants and their environment and everything in between—and, of course, the orientation and navigation of migratory animals. We encourage authors from all over the globe to submit articles to our journal, since migration is a world-wide phenomenon.

We are currently soliciting high-quality research articles, review articles, brief communications, and commentaries. The manuscripts submitted in response to this invitation will be processed with the highest priority.

Animal Migration features rapid, double-blind peer review. It provides free language editing to authors for whom English is not a native language. Furthermore, there will be no publication charges for the first two annual volumes. For more information, go to: http://www.versita.com/am/.

I look forward to seeing your manuscript! Please feel free to forward this invitation to any interested colleagues and associates.

Regards,

Melissa Bowlin
Journal Editor, Animal Migration
