Recommended Posts

The Raptor Research Foundation is now accepting proposals for the 2024 Beingolea Grant, which provides financial support for field research on birds of prey in Latin America (including the Guianas) and the Caribbean. Projects that bring attention to poorly known raptor species, ecosystems, or research questions are especially encouraged, as are projects that include a conservation and/or community engagement component. This grant was established in honor of Peruvian falconer and raptor researcher Oscar Beingolea.

Grant Amount: Up to $4,000 plus waived publication fees in the Journal of Raptor Research

Raptor researchers conducting field research in Latin America and/or the Caribbean (Mexico, Central America, South America and associated islands) are eligible to apply. The next deadline for proposals is June 30.
