SarahKnutie
Hi Everyone, I recently received funding to examine the spatial effects of temperature on bluebird-nest parasite interactions. A few of my collaborators had to drop from the study due to unforeseen circumstances so I’m wondering if any professors who works with US eastern bluebirds would be interested in collaborating with us on experiments during the 2024 and 2025 field seasons. I have funding for the necessary supplies and field personnel support. Co-authorship is obviously offered and the development of other studies is encouraged! The states/areas that we currently have covered are: Minnesota, Missouri, Arkansas, New England, New York, Alabama, North Carolina, and Georgia. Any other areas with Eastern Bluebirds would work! We need to work with at least 30 pairs (with 2+ broods) because we have three experimental treatments, but 45+ pairs are ideal. Please feel free to contact me for more info!
