Thank you Ellen, appreciate the additional info. I am interested in any research that might be out there in our community or relevant observations during ongoing research. I had been unable to find current literature. This does help and is much appreciated.

You know, here's my personal .02. We feed birds for oour personal amusement. The birds do not benefit from it, especially at this time of year. It can and does result in disease transmission. So err on the side of caution. The birds come first. Take the feeders down.
