Attached you will find the final letter mailed to Panama's Minister of Environment by the Waterbird Society Council. This letter was composed in response to a number of proposed development projects in and around the Tocumen and Juan Diaz areas that would threaten the integrity of habitats important to foraging and nesting waterbirds. The letter adds the society's voice to a call for conservation initiated by the Waterbird Conservation Council and the Audubon Society of Panama
