CameronJ 0
Hello Birding community! My grandparents just moved out of their house and were throwing away books and I came across a 1st edition,1st state copy of " a field guide to the birds" by Peterson. It is signed to my grandfather by Troy. I am interested in selling it but i am not sure what is the best way to reach the birding community that would be interested in the book and I am looking for any help on what the book might go for or where is the best place to sell it. The book has some wear to it but the pages are clean and all of the tissue for the color plates are intact. There is no other writing in the book besides Rogers note to my grandfather and the song bird he drew under his signature. any help would be much appreciated
Chris Merkord 28
Hi Cameron, this community is not primarily birders but ornithologists and others interested in basic and applied science related to birds. You'll have more luck if you target the birding communities on the web... or maybe get in touch with a bookstore that specializes in autographed books.
