American Bird Conservancy Posted July 9, 2012 Share Posted July 9, 2012 The recent announcement by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature that the number of globally at-risk bird species on their "Red List" has risen from 1,253 last year to 1,331 this year is cause for concern, but a cooperative approach to bird conservation being implemented by American Bird Conservancy and its partners is achieving positive results in Central and South America, and providing a roadmap for real change.
