A pre-meeting tour is August 4-7 (3 nights / 4 days) and takes you to North West Iceland. You will have the chance to visit Flatey and Látrabjarg and see one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls, Dynjandi. For post-meeting tours, we have two options: Tour 1: August 13-16 (3 nights/4 days) Lake Mývatn, the lake and its surrounding wetlands which have an exceptionally rich fauna of waterbirds, especially waterfowl. Tour 2: August 13-15 (2 nights / 3 days) Vestmannaeyjar and the Southern lowland. On this tour, we will visit the beautiful Westman Islands, rich in history and birdlife.
