Ornithologists might be interested in the following workshop to be offered on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the International Wildlife Management Congress.

Registered attendees of the International Wildlife Management Congress can attend workshops at no additional cost.

  • Synoptic Modeling of Animal Location Data Combining Animal Movements, Home Range and Resource Selection. Organizer: Edward (Oz) Garton
     
    The goals of this workshop are to expose participants to a new approach to analysis of animal location data that combines animal movements, home range, and resource selection analyses into a synoptic model of space use, and to provide them with experience using analytical software to perform the statistical analyses required.
