Cara J Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 The Native Student Professional Development Program provides Native American students with the opportunity to attend the TWS Annual Conference, the largest gathering of wildlife professionals in North America. Now in its ninth year, the program is organized by the Native Peoples’ Wildlife Management Working Group of TWS. The deadline to apply for this year’s program is August 1, 2016. 2016 program participants will receive a travel grant to attend the TWS Annual Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina from October 15-19, 2016. Candidates must be members of a Native American, First Nations, or Indigenous Tribe, or identify as Native Alaskan or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant academic discipline.
