New “Ding” Darling award to continue epic legacy

Nominations for the Jay N. “Ding” Darling Award for Wildlife Stewardship through Art and all remaining awards will be accepted through May 1. The first Jay N. “Ding” Darling Award for Wildlife Stewardship through Art will be presented at this year’s Annual Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina. Nominations for the award are being accepted through May 1, 2016. The new award seeks to honor Darling’s legacy by recognizing an outstanding work of art, or an artistic entity, that furthers the interests of wildlife and habitat conservation through art “Jay N. ‘Ding’ Darling was all about cooperative partnership. He understood the importance of private/public initiatives,” said Sam Koltinsky, who created the award with The Wildlife Society. Koltinsky is the owner of Marvo Entertainment Group, and a nationally recognized Jay N. “Ding” Darling expert who champions the family interests of Darling’s grandson, Christopher “Kip” Koss, and his wife, Andrea. “Darling’s legacy is one of bringing people together.
