BirdsCaribbean raffle to support bird conservation

Every two years, BirdsCaribbean holds a Raffle to help raise funds for bird conservation projects and to support travel  of students and Caribbean delegates to our capacity building meetings and training workshops. This is one of our biggest fund raisers. We launched our 2015 Raffle at our 20th International Meeting in Kingston, Jamaica this past July, which was a huge success, with over 230 delegates from 30 different countries/islands, a number of them supported in part by funds from our 2013 raffle.

There are wonderful prizes, including original artwork by Grenadian artist Freddie Paul (Bananaquits) and Jamaican artist Everard Powell (ceramic relief), as well as premium quality Vortex Viper HD 8 x 42 binoculars  (valued at $689). Please see the attached Flyer for more details, and please share with your colleagues and friends.

If you are interested to buy a ticket, please email Andrew Dobson or Lisa Sorenson and let us know how many tickets you would like. They are $5 each or 5 for $20 (the best deal!). You can pay via credit card at this link: http://bit.ly/1V3xU0r
OR by sending a check to the Treasurer, Jennifer Wheeler (see address below), OR by PayPal (contact Lisa or Jennifer to make this payment).

Thank you in advance for your support!

Warm regards to all,

- Lisa and the BirdsCaribbean Board

p.s. For checks: make them out to “BirdsCaribbean” and mail to:

Jennifer Wheeler, Treasurer
4201 Wilson Blvd. Suite 110-174
Arlington, VA 22203-1589

p.p.s. If you would like to sell tickets to your colleagues, please do! I am attaching a simple form for collecting names and email addresses for the drawing (no need to give anyone a ticket stub) - we will assign numbers of the drawing on Oct. 24th.
