For over 40 years, Earthwatch has contributed directly to rigorous scientific research promoting the advancement of science-based knowledge and leading to effective solutions and meaningful change in the world. We are currently seeking proposals from field-based researchers addressing critical environmental issues to engage citizen scientist volunteers in their research. Earthwatch currently supports five research programs: * Ocean Ecosystems Program * Freshwater Ecosystems Program * Terrestrial Ecosystems Program * Urban Ecosystems Program * Sustainable Agriculture and Forest Ecosystems Program Please visit http://earthwatch.org/scientific-research/ to access detailed RFPs and to submit a pre-proposal for funding consideration.
