Established in 1901, ASM is the state's ornithological society. The society, with over 300 members throughout Missouri, is dedicated to the preservation and protection of birds and and all wildlife forms and habitat, to the education of the citizenry toward appreciation of the natural world, and to wise conservation practices related to people and wildlife. This year, we are pleased to offer a $2000 scholarship to a Missouri graduate student doing ornithological research or research that will directly benefit birds or bird habitat. Eligibility and application requirements are detailed in the attached announcement. Please make this announcement available to all interested faculty and their graduate students.
