General organizational information can be found atwww.earthwatch.org. We are currently seeking proposals from field-based researchers to engage members of the public (recruited by Earthwatch) in their research addressing critical environmental issues in several target geographic and thematic areas, including (but not limited to): • North America • Central America • The Nordic Region • as well as projects focusing on African and/or Asian elephant conservation initiatives. In all these areas, we are prioritizing research which helps us understand nature’s response to accelerating global change.
