John Faaborg
I am the new book review editor for the Wilson Journal of Ornithology. We have developed a bit of a backlog of books that need to be reviewed, thus, I need some help. Please consider becoming a book review for the WJO. Start by getting in touch with me and letting me know what sort of books you feel qualified to review. I’ll respond by sending you a list of the books we currently have available, if one of the books appeals to you, send me a note stating such and some reasons why you would be a good reviewer for that particular book. If it seems like a good match, I will send you the book for review, and you get to keep the book! You then will need to send me (a few weeks later) a review done in the proper format (which I will provide). Each review will be eligible for the Storrs Olson Prize that is given to the best book review in the Wilson Journal of Ornithology each year. If you would like to be considered as a book reviewer in the future but cannot do so at this time, send me a note that states this interest and your general fields of expertise, and I will put you on my list of active book reviewers. All queries and requests should be emailed to John Faaborg at FaaborgJ@missouri.edu.
