Rainforest Biodiversity Group, founded in 2000, has been instrumental in the development of the San-Juan La Selva Biological Corridor in northern Costa Rica, and the implementation of the Costa Rican Bird Route project for the protection of endangered species and migratory birds in Costa Rica. In its ten-year existence, RBG programs have focused on reforestation, environmental education, community outreach, reserve development, bird monitoring, and nature tourism development.
